Painted Tree - Bandera Volcano Size:8x12 It is so tastefully decorated

It is so tastefully decorated with plants and flowers in the summer and sits just outside of the Old Tin Shed located in Bancroft

As I came around a bend in the slotted canyon and looked up from the canyon floor

I sat by the pond for a few hours watched and photographed the birds and simply enjoyed being with nature

it a touristy location but the feel of this place is amazing

Painted Tree - Bandera Volcano Size:8x12 It is so tastefully decoratedThis tree was at the side the trail at Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano located on the continental divide in Grants, New Mexico where the Bandera Volcano had erupted between 9,500 and 10,900 years ago. The trees trunks along the trail were like they were painted with the lines on their trunks. This was one of our Harvest Host stops for the night on our travels heading to Arizona.
