18th c, Rococo Tall Case Clock 0" (38 cm)A large scale 18th century Rococo three part tall case clock, circa 1770. The carved wooden case features an architectural hood topped with a carved finial and flanked by pierced fretwork. It houses a complex musical movement featuring a 15 bell carillon alongside an independent striking bell. The white enamel dial is detailed with Roman hour numerals, Arabic minute markers, and pierced gilt hands. The movement is documented by an embossed brass
