Italian 101 Grain Direction:Short An off-white paper with aCarta Varese designs have their origins in Renaissance Italy and traditional Italian woodblock printed papers. Nowadays they are offset printed in Florence. The printing process is quite elaborate. The two way & multi coloured papers are printed in a single colour machine. Every colour is printed separately, a method reminiscent of silk screen printing. This process results in colours that are bright and dense despite being an offset print. These high
