I liked artifact tokens and the space they opened up in the game, as with Clue tokens and Treasure tokens, but organic materials didnt feel artifact-y to me, which is likely because Im a Magic boomer who came to the game with brown-framed artifacts like Mox Emerald and Ankh of Mishra
This transformation allows your Blood Artist payoffs to become even more flexible, cards like Marionette Apprentice or Mirkwood Bats will now trigger whenever a creature dies because the game sees an artifact hitting the graveyard
