I've designed this shank to hang straight like a solid bit with the forgiveness of a loose shank

Through trial and error and by not falling in love with one design and with the help of some good friends

until I came up with the majority of the weight

I maneuvered the weight around the mouthpiece for some reason

Texas Turtle I've designed this shank toA bit design that came out of ranch country in North West Texas. A favorite of cowboys that moved over to the performance horse industry. I've taken an old design and in my opinion made improvements on it. I've moved all the weight around the mouthpiece, which helps the horse understand it better, and have added a horizontal ring that improves lateral pull. We suggest this bit for broke horses.
