The label was made in the early 1970's and read "Le pot de vin" which translated means "to the bribe". Back then It was a daring play on words. This inspired Bertrand to make simple natural wines made from biodynaimcally grown fruit, minimal SO2, and in concrete tanks built by his grandfather. His Pot de Vin Blanc is 100% chardonnay.
