Kay Bojesen Guardsman with Gun & Sentry Box Bowls The rays of light twinkleSet of the Guardsman With Gun and the Sentry Box. Inspired by one of Denmark's national symbols on the courtyard at Amalienborg Palace, Kay Bojesen created his hand painted guardsmen in 1942. The sentry box stands 14. 2" tall and is a scaled down replica from original drawings of Danish military sentry boxes. Painted in the traditional red and white colors and embellished with the Royal Monogram in gold.
