He spent a number of years living in Hrslev, North Funen where he produced a large body of paintings in his studio and exhibited them in his own gallery. Forms and textures found in nature were a significant source of inspiration to the artist, and he often kept tree trunks, branches and stones in his studio. When we look at this painting, we immediately appreciate the artists love of colour.
