Vintage James Dixon Sandwich Tin in Leather Case - Sandwich161 saddle a band of silver swingsThis is an antique rectangular leather case which closes with a buckle. It is lined in doeskin or chamois. Its stitching is very good. The buckles and straps which would attach to the D rings of the saddle show some wear, but they are still useable. They could be replaced in future. Inside there is a double hinged plated sandwich tin. This is stamped inside with a trumpet and banner and "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, 16M" The tin is in good
