Thaw 2 Ulla Pedersen part of a seriesThaw Series is a new series of drawings where the artist continues her work touching upon environmental matters. They are freehand drawings on two layers on plastic paper depicting the process of ice turning into water. The layering of subtle shades of blue coloured pencils combined with graphite in a repetitive manner creates the simultaneously feeling of something fragile being built and something precious vanishing at the same time.
