There is a crown shaped stud or gatepusher on the top of the staghorn. It has a silver plated collar which is stamped "Swaine" and engraved "K. F. D. Feb 21st 1948". The collar has many small dents and dings from use. The shaft or stock is covered in dark brown braided leather. The whip has a replacement open keeper or loose in bridle leather.
