There are a lot of things to consider when purchasing a vintage Pokmon pack

The artwork showcases the Pokmon's sheer size and ferocity and does a much better job of making the Pokmon look like a threat compared to its previous special illustration rare variant (which featured the Pokmon eating honey.) This is genuinely one of the coolest cards in Prismatic Evolutions , making it a fantastic find

With no other creatures on board, it's a five-mana 6/6 in an era where over-stated creatures aren't the norm, and the counters it provides can be spread out to other creatures, which is usually even better
