It attaches to the housing accessory port and sucks out the air from inside the housing using the included manual pump

Howshot 3/4" YS Coldshoe Flex Arm @photolight DB-BL14: -14Suitable for YS type mount lights and strobes, and can be installed on the coldshoe mount of the housing. Use LOC LINE 3 4" flex arm to change the angle at will, or you can purchase LOC LINE 3 4" flex arm to increase the length. The hook plate on the bottom of the adapter prevents the light holder from accidentally sliding off the coldshoe mount.
