The name derives from the lieu dit "Les Sablons" within the premier cru village of Rilly La Montagne, not far from where Brice's cellar is in cueil. This bottling presents a touch more classic than his very modern Pinots Noirs, and the chardonnay adding a lifted citrus touch to the heavier more perfumed pinot noir.
