Left Field Albarino grape-variety-zinfandel elegant tannins accompany a lingeringA favourite wine of winemaker Richard Painter, this Albarino ripens well under the sun of the Gisbourne region. Grapes are hand harvested and whole bunch pressed prior to fermentation; 90% as clear juice in stainless steel and 10% with indiginous yeast in oak puncheons. Citrus flowers, melon and peach on the nose, rich stone fruit and lime on the palate. Beautiful with fish and fresh salads.
