but it sure is spectacular: suddenly one is looking over the huge South Park valley to the grand Collegiate Peaks of the Sawatch Range

The fall colors are spectacular, and I've rarely experienced such dark skies.? In fact, photographing the foreground was quite the challenge: I really had to kick up the ISO to get decent quality shots to average!
