Poggiopiano - Rosso di Sera Toscana 2015 (750ml) Mayacamas Foothills Benchlands and pear blossomexhibits a very intense, dense colour and a nose that starts with notes of ink and medicinal herbs, such as cinchona, the opens out to embrace mineral, balsamic tones and nuances of wind berries, including blueberry and redcurrant. Entry on the palate is gutsy and the body is powerful with very close knit but extremely well developed tannins and a balanced acid vein. The finish is very long and leaves a pleasant spicy aftertaste.
