Trapezoidal copper fin and old chain. Heavy and large in size. Signed by the maker. Paolo Soleri (1919 1913), the founder of Cosanti and Arcosanti, was an important artist, architecture, philosopher and urban planner. The Italian architect studied with Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin West in Arizona, and at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
