The white spined armored stems form a dense mat only 4 high and 24 wide. Each bulbous stem segment is over twice the size of the regular form. The single, deep gold flowers in late June are stunning. This variety is slow growing and not a thug in the garden. Club Cholla is as beautiful in the winter as in the summer. Zone 5. Sold in a 2. 5" pot.
