The basic fibres are inorganic, sterile and incombustible. Suitable for temperatures up to 550C in optimum conditions. They are resistant to oils, solvents and most chemicals, but direct contact with live steam should be avoided. The fibres will not rot and are unaffected by fungi, insects and
